Balanced Tunnel uses one hidden word of twelve independent fair bits. Each reveal shows the next zero or one. At completion, its reward is the length of the longest contiguous substring containing equally many zeros and ones. A substring keeps neighbouring positions together; it does not skip positions.
The word 010101010101 gives reward twelve. A constant word gives zero. Every word with both symbols contains an adjacent change, so those mixed words have at least one balanced pair.
What Does the Displayed Quote Mean?
The unconditional mean terminal reward is exactly 8.3447265625. The current quote is 0.97 times the conditional mean terminal reward, divided by that unconditional mean. The conditional mean averages every equally likely completion of the currently visible prefix.
The displayed quote can rise or fall even though an already visible balanced substring cannot shrink. It prices the whole captured stake. It is not a raw substring length and does not require a second multiplication by that length.
How Does Collection Work?
Manual collection uses the current timestamp and revealed state. A pre-round auto threshold pays the entire actual first crossing quote before any later zero. A final positive quote settles automatically; a zero quote settles with zero credit. No additional 3% deduction is applied on collection.
The maximum quote is approximately 1.3948929198361615. Higher thresholds cannot trigger. Permitted stopping policies have exact unrounded expected gross credit of 97% of stake, rather than an advantage from following signals or a promise of profits.
